Strewth - it's amazing how things can change in just a few days. As you can see we've had the scaffolding up, a huge hole put in our roof and the main structure for the dormer rooms already up - and it's only been four days! Boy, can these guys work. They didn't leave until 7:35pm last night and don't seem to stop for long for breaks or lunch. The upheaval starts next week as Caitlin as to move out of her room so they can start on the new stairwell and we're not sure where she's going to sleep yet, but we do have a tent, and considering she snores like a trooper with apnoea, the garden seems like the best option (only kidding about the snoring, darling!).
Anyhoo, school's out and we now have to try and fill our days with more than just sawdust, hammering and no hot water, and seeing as we're on a budget, it'll just be lots of trips to National trust places and bike rides.
Last weekend Joel and I went on Scout camp to Broadstone Warren. It was okay, the weather was kind, but it was a tad slow for me - I think we could have done a bit more than we did.

Okay I'm of to get slaughtered in the squash courts, yet again, so until next time.
