"Ding, Dong, the bells are gonna chime"

Cor, how time flies - i thought i put a post on here recently but it seems it was weeks ago. Well since then I've had a 'B' for my last OU assignment; spent a few hours at our very wet Church Family Day; videoed Chris and Caitlin at their joint sports day which was fun coz they were in the same team; finally got back on the golf course (even if it was just the short holes!); played a couple of rubbish games of squash (why do I bother?!); taken the Scouts sailing, and yesterday (Saturday) Jess and I attended the wedding (ON OUR OWN!!!) for Jess's work friend, Caroline, up in Southgate, followed by a very stress-free afternoon and evening enjoying our own company, before crashing at our good friends, the Roddys, for the night. Thanks guys!

As for our attic conversion - well we've had the councils permission and we've met with Space Invaders, but the building regs have been delayed so the work will not be starting for another couple of weeks - nuisance!

Anyways, when it does start we'll endeavour to keep a running log of proceedings and to start things off, here's a photo of how the back of the house looks now.
